Account Executive

BeyondID is serving rapidly growing multi-billion dollar cloud security and operations management industries.  We help our customers acquire, deploy and manage cloud services as simple, secure, efficient and cost-effective as possible.  We offer consulting, implementation and managed services for best-in-class identity and access management, API management, cloud security and operations, and cloud platforms. 

To support our rapid growth, we are expanding our services sales team and hiring various customer facing roles.  As a BeyondID Account Executive, you will be managing and selling our Cloud Service Management solutions portfolio into key accounts.  You will act as an advisor using consultative and value-based sales techniques to your customer’s senior leadership team.

This is primarily a remote position, with expectation of 30-40% travel in US and Canada.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Effectively leverage internal resources such as Architects, Consultants, Service Development Representatives, as well as selected partners to successfully generate qualified opportunities.
Coordinate internal resources and partners to successfully manage complex relationships and sales cycles with the assigned customers.


  • Create and execute services sales and reseller licensing opportunities to a new and existing customer base by prospecting, building and maintaining a robust sale pipeline

  • Work with partners to extend reach and generate new opportunities

  • Drive, lead, and own your sales cycle

  • Manage contract negotiations

  • Achieve the quarterly and yearly revenue commitments

  • Practice strong sales discipline through business planning, account management, and forecasting/opportunity management. 

  • Leverage knowledge repository for sales best practices and standardization 

  • Regularly meet with customers at senior levels to understand their business/key drivers, and generate demand for licenses and related services through a customized value led approach.

  • Proactive account planning and execution (including penetration plan and well as coverage plan).

  • Take control of the sales process rather than simply following the customer’s process. 

  • Create an environment of collaboration with both the customer and the virtual sales team.

  • As your customer’s advocate, lead and collaborate with internal and partner teams as needed to address escalated issues.

  • Build key management relationships with focus on new and upsell opportunities, customer success, and satisfaction, resulting in referenceable accounts and positive brand/company awareness.

  • Build long-term relationships with your customers and drive the highest levels of customer satisfaction 

  • Shape and Influence BeyondID’s growth and scalability, through customer feedback related to potential new offerings, and finding new ways to create and sell these back into the marketplace



  • Minimum 3-5 year of technology services sales experience

  • SaaS, Cloud, and Identity Management experience is strongly preferred

  • Familiar with cloud architectures and complex enterprise on-premise IT landscapes.

  • Knowledge of enterprise identity life cycle management processes and standards.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Experience developing and presenting clear and concise sales briefings/meetings.

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Ability to understand your customers’ business, needs, challenges and expectations.

  • A proven track record of successful building and executing on a sales target and plan

  • A strong network of customers 

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to demonstrate “hustle” and work with multiple customers simultaneously.

  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels of management and deliver informative, well-organized presentations.

  • Ability to listen and understand the customer’s business goals, objectives and priorities.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions. 

  • Team player and able to take direction from Sales Management.

  • Ability to feel comfortable in challenging your customer’s understandings and priorities through the use of insight with market and industry trends

  • Ability to manage customer expectations effectively.

  • Ability to lead and facilitate effective team interaction.

  • Driven to grow our business, increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.

  • Education: B.S. or M.S. required
